PROJECT INFORMATION

____

  • This project provided a temporary housing site to displaced citizens of Joplin, MO after the F-5 tornado devastated the community on May 22, 2011. USACE Project Engineer Jonathan West provided the following comments about our performance - “The contractor performed every task asked of them without hesitation, and exhibited superior drive to complete the job ahead of schedule…all parties involved were very impressed and look forward to working with them in the future.”

  • Construction of a new, pre-engineered rigid frame fire station for the Town of Martin, KY. The scope of this project included all architectural, mechanical, structural, civil, and electrical work. The new 4,200 sf facility will include bays for up to four fire trucks, office, conference/lounge, restrooms, and utility/storage areas. The project also included all utility coordination and installation on site (water, electric, telephone, storm & sanitary sewer).

  • The project required the installation of 54,000 CCY of crushed limestone aggregate along 60 miles of the Mississippi River Levee. Little Miami Construction contracting personnel completed 75% of the contract while subcontracting the aggregate placement to Apex Paving Company. Little Miami Construction was able to complete the project 40 days ahead of schedule.
